Ingredients
2 flat mushrooms
100g sausage meat
Grated lemon rind
Fresh herbs – parsley, marjoram, thyme, chopped
Salt and pepper
Method
1. Wipe mushrooms free of soil, remove stalks, lay cap down in lightly oiled baking dish.
2. Mix chopped stalks, lemon rind, herbs and seasoning into sausage meat. Place onto mushrooms.
3. Bake for 20 minutes at 160c until golden brown.
Alternative
Replace sausage meat with crumbled brown breadcrumbs and bind with egg.
