The Wessex Flock

We have a large closed flock of New Zealand Romney sheep that are based in Hampshire and graze in the Wessex region of England. The flock work with nature and our seasons. They lamb outside in April therefore the ewes feed the lambs when the grass is growing and the days are warmer. The NZR breed are known for being maternal and do a fantastic job of looking after there offspring. They are great converters of forage, bred for their meat as well as the high quality fleece they produce. We are a large closed flock that sell quality breeding stock throughout the country as well as meat and wool. The dream to produce quality lambs fleece and sell products from this came about this year.
