FRESHLY SOURCED AND LOCAL

Farm Raised Stamp

The Hampshire Farmers’ Market is a vibrant hub for local, fresh, and sustainably produced goods. Rooted in the heart of Hampshire, these markets offer a unique opportunity for customers to connect with local farmers, producers, and artisans. Each stall is a testament to the region’s rich agricultural heritage, showcasing a variety of products that come directly from the farm or skilled artisans who use locally sourced ingredients where possible.

26 years of celebrating the rural delights of Hampshire’s harvests.

Hampshire Farmers’ Markets brings fabulous produce to eight towns and cities across the county each and every month.

Where it began

It was on May 16th, 1999 that Hampshire welcomed it’s very first Farmers’ Market on Middle Brook Street in Winchester.

In 2002, Hampshire County Council gave Hampshire Farmers’ Markets independence and became a not-for-profit organisation. The same year, HFM became acredited by FARMA (Farmers’ Retail and Markets Association), giving their customers assurance that the markets were affiliated to an offical and respected organisation. HFM still uses FARMA criteria guidelines today.

HFM has long supported rural businesses, offering advice and support and, most importantly, a shopfront for their produce. To become a member and bring goods to market, producers must fulfill specific criteria. Firstly, they must be based in Hampshire or within a 30-mile radius. It must also be that any produce that is grown, reared or raised must spend at least 50 per cent of its time with the producer.

With changing times and tastes, we also invite craftsmen and skilled artisan producers to join us.
